New Chapel Project
Above is a picture of the old chapel at Camp Horizon. When the new cafeteria was built, the old one was taken apart, moved to the other side of the camp and reconstructed as the Chapel. The ceiling was low, the floor was dirt and the roof leaked - none of which are conducive to a Chapel. The goal for the summer of 2018 was to construct and furnish a new chapel. The goal was to raise $6,000 to cover the construction costs. Praise the Lord! Not only did we reach our $6000 goal but we exceeded it by nearly $3000. A big "Thank You!" to all those that donated. As you can see from the pictures below, the old chapel is gone and the new one sits proudly in its place. The extra money was used for chairs/tables, sound system and whatever else it will take to make this chapel a holy place of worship.
